Summary: This week’s new episodes.
Show Recaps
Here are summaries of new episodes from Misdirected Mark Productions this past week:
MMPlays 40 – A Magical Night Part 4 (CotS AP)
It’s part 4 of A Magical Night. The crew of Gunny, Silas, and Ti are still getting ready for PROM. They’re also getting ready for the post prom ritual, or at least to stop the Wyrm Cult, get Meseme’s essence back, and reconstitute her, hopefully, if they don’t mess it up.
This week Ti brings Bo home for dinner. Gunny brings Casey home for dinner. Chris and Phil get to play multiple characters in multiple scenes and we take our story to the PROM or at least right to the front doors of the main event.
Panda’s Talking Games 333 – Feel the Character Beat
Show us how you slide some character beats into an action oriented game! Phil and Senda talk about the spectrum that is character driven games and action driven games, and how to push your slider a little more into the middle when the game you’re playing is intended to be action oriented. Also, hope y’all enjoyed Acadecon, we were super late on addressing this topic! XD
Gnomecast #176 – Canon Characters
Ang, Chris, & Jared talk about using Canon Characters in your games. They touch on their experiences as a GM and player and then give some tips and tricks to make it a little easier for you to make you IP games with Canon Characters work.
