When discussing the artificer, you questioned the practicality of giving an ability a 300′ range, but longbow archers have a 600′ range, and with sharpshooter it isn’t even at disadvantage.
And as a decades long Theater of the Mind DM, I can tell you that increasing movement speed by 5′ per round makes a big difference. Creatures’ movements are relative and being faster or slower materially impacts one’s ability to keep up and/or catch up.
