    You mentioned that in this edition of D&D critical fumbles aren’t officially a thing. That is actually true of every edition. Fumbles have never been a core rule. (Another thing about Fumbles in recent editions is that for the PCs at least they slow down an already slow combat system. I prefer to grab things like fumbles narratively instead of mechanically.)

    Oh one game with dice interpretation that you might look at Bob, Psi Run. You get a pool of dice that get rolled and then assigned to different aspects of conflict resolution.
